We’re sitting next to you at the table.

Not across from you. We are your software procurement partner.
SoftVaro was born from over twenty years of experience in software sales, solution selling, and collaboration with purchasing and IT leaders. Discovered at SCC, shaped at Agile Software, guided by Comparex, grown at SoftwareONE, and matured at Computacenter.

Throughout those years, we continually saw the same structural blind spot: the procurement of Tier 2 and 3 software. Too small for strategic attention. Too large to keep track of. Too costly to ignore.

That knowledge and experience form the foundation of SoftVaro. We know which margins and conditions within Enterprise Software renewals are truly achievable, and how to secure them. We take over the entire research and negotiation process for you so your colleagues spend minimal time on it.

What we stand for

Three values that underpin every SoftVaro collaboration.

Fast

Enterprise organisations don’t have time for months-long quotation processes. Intake and substantiated benchmark within 24 hours. That’s what we represent.

Sharp

Every price substantiated, every benchmark verifiable. Sharpness doesn’t come from claims, but from transparency.

Together

Software isn't a one-off project. We stay involved in every renewal process. One team, one process, one file that grows with your organisation.

Our focus: Enterprise from day one

From the outset, SoftVaro was set up as a fully-fledged Enterprise organisation. With years of experience in the Tier 1 software landscape and the support of our investors, one principle was central: governance, compliance, and operational maturity must be in order from day one.

This approach was immediately tested in practice. Within one month, our first Enterprise client was successfully onboarded, a process demanding high standards of governance, compliance, and operational execution.

Today, SoftVaro operates with a specialised team focused exclusively on Tier 2 and 3 software procurement for Enterprise organisations. Permanent and external staff and long-term specialists working as one team. The focus is upfront: client relationship, alignment with the business, and translating needs into concrete license and contract solutions.

Why the name SoftVaro?

SoftVaro derives from Esperanto, an international language designed to connect people worldwide. This idea fits perfectly with our mission: to make accessible the software that otherwise goes unnoticed, hidden in the tail spend of enterprise organisations.

In Esperanto, SoftVaro literally means ‘Software product’: composed of softa (soft) and varo (goods/product). A recognisable, logical composition in a language known for simplicity, clarity and connection. Those same characteristics are central to how we work.
